Adult Yoga with Sheila Armstrong In-Person
Join us this evening for a one-hour gentle yoga class with instructor Sheila Armstrong. We will practice asanas (yoga poses) and breathing techniques to be present in the current moment and to create more space in our minds and bodies. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and anything else that might make you more comfortable during class (i.e., towel or blanket). This program is suitable for ages 13 and up.
Sheila is a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and a certified Reiki healer residing in Milton. Her love of yoga started in the late 1990s when she was looking for a way to get grounded after finishing college and starting a new job as a middle school teacher. She believes that anyone can benefit from the calm and presence gained while practicing yoga and hopes to help people take these benefits with them into their lives off the mat as well.
Advance registration is required. Registration opens 3 weeks before the program date.
This program is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library.
