Plant-a-Garden, Ages 6-12* In-Person
Looking for a way to introduce your children to the basics of gardening? The MPL Children's Room is hosting a "hands-on" planting session on Thursday, May 29. Kids ages 6-12 will learn the "how to's" of planting seeds and seedlings into window boxes placed on the front steps of the Canton Avenue entrance. All young gardeners who participate in the session will also plant a vegetable or flower into a pot to take home.
Tools and plants will be provided, but please bring along a pair of garden gloves if your child would like them.
