"Handicapping the Oscars" with Film Critics Frank Mandosa and Jeanne Marie Denizard

"Handicapping the Oscars" with Film Critics Frank Mandosa and Jeanne Marie Denizard In-Person

There will be an in person program this evening starting at 7 PM in our Keys Community Room with film critics Frank Mandosa and Jeanne Marie Denizard.  This interactive talk will be all about the upcoming Oscars in an event called: "Handicapping the Oscars" which we have offered for several prior years (with other guest critics).

Frank Mandosa is a local film podcaster and high school teacher.  His movie podcasts can be found at: https://linktr.ee/Silver_Screeners_Frank    His co-host for these podcasts is: "Movies Across the Pod." Both are available wherever you get your podcasts (Amazon, Apple/iTunes, Buzzsprout, GoodPods, Google Podcasts, Podchaser, Spotify).  Mr. Mandosa has given a wide variety of different film-related talks at many venues in the Boston area, such as public libraries (including the Boston Public Library), community centers, senior living facilities, local cable programs, and private residences.  For 8 years, he also co-hosted "Reel Life," a Stoughton-based cable program, which placed second for Arts and Theater at the 17th annual Alliance for Community Media - Northeast Region (ACM-NE) Video Festival in November 2015.  Frank loves doing these film talks and they tend to include lots of fun trivia questions, movie-themed door prizes, photo displays, and free handouts pertaining to the topic!

Jean Marie Denizard is a Performing Arts Writer and Film Critic for Boston under the moniker: "the Sleepless Critic."  She is also a member of SAG/AFTRA, the Boston Theatre Critics Association Committee, and Contributor for Independent Reviewers of New England.  Also, she's reviewed at Indie Film Festivals in both Boston and New York.

We hope you might join host Jean Hlady for a fun evening talking about upcoming movies - the great and the not-so great..!

You do need to sign up for this program in advance as space is limited.  Please register her as people will be checked in at the door.

This event is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to all.

We look forward to seeing you there!
